Overcoming crashes or not being
able to download on the Google Play Store is a way that Android smartphone
users often do if their Google Play Store has a problem. It is undeniable,
Google Play Store is the mainstay of the Android mobile users in searching for
applications and software they want, or to update applications.
So it will be very troublesome if
Google Play Store often experiences problems such as crashes, unable to
download, force close, stuck, failed to download, and many more problems that
are often faced by users of Android smartphones. For this reason, in this article, I want to share about some good ways to overcome the
problematic Google Play Store.
How to Overcome the Troubled
Google Play Store
1. Clear / Delete Cache and Data
By removing the cache, it
is possible that problems with the Google Play Store can be quickly resolved.
Because the cache is a cache that is stored on the application and is usually
not used. Therefore, by clearing the cache, it is the right way to solve the
problem in the Play Store.
The way to delete cache is by
going to the Settings - Apps menu, then sliding the screen to the All section
and looking for the Google Play Store. Then select and press the Clear Cache
and Clear Data button.
In addition to deleting cache on
the Google Play Store application, you also have to delete the cache on Google
Play Services. The method is almost the same as the one above, which is entered
into the Settings menu - Apps - All - Google Play Services - Clear Cache. By
doing this method, it is expected to be able to overcome Google Play that has
errors and problems.
2. Uninstall the Play Store
Update
Updating on the Google Play
Store is something that should not be ignored. But sometimes, this can also
make the Google Play Store problematic. Uninstalling an update is the only way.
The method is the same as number 1, which is to go to the Settings menu - Apps
- All - Google Play Store - Uninstall Updates.
3. Activate Download Manager
Activating the download manager
application is one way you can do it if you have problems not being able to
download applications or other problems on Google Play. How to activate it is
quite easy, which is to go to the Settings - Apps - All - Download Manager
menu, then press Activate to activate the Download Manager application.
4. Deleting a Google Account and
Replacing it
If the three methods above are
still unsuccessful, then the next way to overcome the Google Play Store that is
problematic is to delete the google account that is connected to the Play Store
and reconnect it.
How to enter the Settings menu -
Accounts - Google - Remove Account. This way, you have successfully deleted the
connected Google account. Next, you have
to reboot/restart your Android smartphone
and then enter / re-add the deleted Google account by going to the Settings
menu - Accounts - Add Account - Google.
5. Check the Memory Blank Space
If you experience problems not
being able to download the application, then you need to first describe the
free space on the internal memory of your Android smartphone. Make sure the
empty space is sufficient and not lacking. How to check it is by going to the
Settings menu - Memory - Free Space.
If you lack storage space, then
you have to uninstall (un-install) applications that are not needed or not
important. By doing this, the storage space becomes loose again and try to
enter Google Play and start downloading the application.
6. Internet connection
Before opening Google Play,
you must first check the internet connection on your cell phone, make sure you have enough data or quota packages
because to open Google Play it requires an internet connection.
7. Reinstall Google Play
If the above methods have
not been successful, then you need to reinstall the Google Play Store
application. You can search the Google Play Store application on trusted sites.
8. Factory Data Reset
This is the only way you
can do it if all of the above methods don't work. This method is certainly risky because it will eliminate all existing
data and applications and restore them to their original settings, just like
when you bought a smartphone. To anticipate data loss, you must first backup
all data on your Android phone.
To do factory data reset, then
you need to enter the Settings menu - Backup and Reset - Factory Data Reset.
Wait until the process is complete, and your smartphone returns to the
beginning like the first time you bought.
Or if you haven't succeeded
manually by doing a Factory Reset on your Android, please use several
alternative ways. By applying all of the above methods, I hope that all the
problems in your Google Play Store application can be resolved. I really hope that this article can be useful for all
of us. If you find this article useful please share this article on your social
